Go before they're gone.

Well, after watching the trailer for the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel, I think it's guaranteed that there's at least one movie I'll want to see at the drive-in this summer.

Speaking of the drive-in, it's a long haul for most people to go out to Lake Elmo or Cottage Grove, but I was thinking it might be a fun thing to do with a group of people. The movies all tend towards blockbuster action/sci-fi and low-brow comedy, but occasionally there's a good lineup. Anyone potentially interested for some time this summer?

Drive-in sounds fun. I could take the topper off my truck and throw a mattress in back, making kind of a make-shift futon. Yeah. That'd be fun.

Cool. If it pans out, the Vali-Hi (in Lake Elmo) is usually the more grown-up oriented of the two and shows triple features most weekends. It's a pretty good time.

Been to many drive-ins? They all started closing when I was about ten.

I'd be up for the drive in. Back in high school, going to the drive in was a de facto curfew extension because of the triple feature. "but Mom, it doesn't end until 3 am!". Sometimes I even went there.
